On-Campus Connections

Wireless

  • 任何需要访问利记sbo资源的设备都应该使用利记sbo网络.e. network printers or shared drives). 利记sbo网络是一个安全连接，需要利记sbo校园用户名和密码.
  • 利记sbo来宾连接应该用于任何不需要访问利记sbo资源的设备.e. smartphone, gaming devices, iPads etc…). 利记sbo Guest连接对所有人开放，不需要登录.

Campus Housing Connections

Wired

  • 北屋每间卧室都有两个有线以太网插孔.
  • North housing living room wired jacks are inactive.
  • South housing has at least 1 wired jack in bedrooms.
  • Reuss housing has one wired jack in each room.
  • East housing has one wired jack in each room.
  • Additionally, 每个房内接入点在设备底部有4个以太网端口.
  • 为了提高可靠性，请尽可能使用有线连接.

Wireless

您可以使用您的笔记本电脑或台式机通过使用劳伦斯科技公司的VPN(虚拟专用网络)服务从校外连接到劳伦斯科技公司的网络资源. 劳伦斯科技公司的VPN服务允许大学教师, staff, 学生可以安全地“隧道”进入和访问网络资源，就像他们在校园一样.

Which connection should I use?

  • The  利记sbo Guest  连接应该用于任何不需要访问利记sbo资源的设备，如上述(1).e. smartphone, gaming devices, iPads etc…). The  利记sbo Guest  connection is open to all with no login required.

What if I am still having trouble connecting?

如果您在校园或宿舍使用利记sbo提供的笔记本电脑，并且您的互联网连接不足，您可以尝试以下步骤:

  1. Search and open the Control Panel.
  2. Open Network and Sharing Center.
  3. 从窗口的左侧，单击更改适配器设置
  4. 右键单击Wi-Fi适配器，选择“属性”.
  5. Click the Configure button.
  6. On the Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
  7. From the list on the left, choose Preferred Band.
  8. From the Value drop-down menu, choose Prefer 5.2GHz band.
  9. Click the OK button.

Additional troubleshooting steps

确定是连接问题还是浏览器问题.

  • If you are on campus, 请尝试使用其他浏览器或访问其他网络资源, such as printers or shared drives.

  • The problem may be specific to your location.

如果你的网络连接有问题，或者你收到“连接有限或无连接”的信息, try repairing your connection.

  • Click on Start and then Control Panel.
  • Click on Internet and Network Connections.
  • In the Internet and Network Connections window, 单击窗口底部的网络连接图标.
  • 右键单击您的无线网络图标，然后单击修复.

如果您希望手动修复，请打开“命令”窗口.

  • 单击“开始/运行”，在“运行”窗口中输入cmd，然后单击“确定”.

  • Open the Control Panel and then Network Connections.

  • With this selected, click the Properties button.

  • Then click OK and exit.

Update your wireless network driver.

  • 如果你的笔记本电脑已经使用了好几年，那么驱动程序可能已经过时了.

  • If you have a personally owned laptop, 请从制造商的网站下载网络驱动程序，并按照他们的说明进行安装.

  • 在DOS窗口中，输入:ipconfig/flushdns(然后回车)

  • Restart the computer and try to connect again
